Silver Concierge was created to provide excellent customer service to our senior community. We are made up of local, outgoing, organized, and personable professionals. Our wide variety of services allows flexibility to assist seniors throughout their retirements years. We take pride in our work and truly enjoy what we do.
Karen Tomlinson (Owner / Senior Concierge)
Who I am and my passion for this company has a lot to do with my mom, Trina and my dear friend Joyce. I grew up in the senior community volunteering at the assisted living communities where my mom worked as a dedicated nurse. I loved spending time there, participating in activities, helping out during lunch, and visiting resident’s bedside. In 2002 we partnered together to open Angels Care at Home Caregiver agency and in 2005 opened The Tropical Villa RCFE. I wore many hats within these businesses, but my favorite was my role as a caregiver.
I went on to explore my passion for hospitality where I studied in Event Management at The International School of Hospitality, Las Vegas. I spent 6 years in hotels selling and delivering award winning customer service.
A couple years ago my dear friend Joyce needed a POA (Power of Attorney) and I gladly accepted to help her out. She became my inspiration for starting Silver Concierge. Quickly, I saw how much Joyce depended on me. There are bills, budgeting, taxes, selling of homes, healthcare, groceries, cleaning etc., but most of all honoring her wants while balancing her needs. It is important to me that I assist Joyce in enjoying this time in her life. So important, that I stepped back from my corporate career and founded Silver Concierge. I want to spend my time dedicating 200% of myself to Joyce and other Seniors who can benefit from our services.
